Practice for the timed math test

Many classrooms give a speed test: 100 single-digit problems in 5 minutes, with 95 correct to pass. Lots of kids know the facts but aren't fast enough yet. Math Speed Game gives them a calm place to build that speed.

How it works

Pick addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or a mix of all four. Then pick a level. Every level is open, so kids can start wherever feels right.

LevelProblemsTime
1201 minute
2402 minutes
3603 minutes
4804 minutes
51005 minutes (the real test)

Every level works out to 3 seconds per problem, the same pace as the real test. Passing means 95% correct and finishing before time runs out.

Built to feel calm

The timer is hidden. Kids never see a countdown, because visible clocks raise anxiety and slow recall. Results focus on progress and avoid harsh “fail” language.

It adapts to your child

The app notices which facts take longer or get missed, and shows those a little more often. After each round, kids can practice just the ones they missed.

Privacy

There's no sign-up and no account. Nothing your child types is sent anywhere. Progress is saved only in this browser on this device, and you can erase it any time in Settings.

Because progress lives in the browser, it won't follow your child to another device, and clearing browser data resets it. On iPhone and iPad, adding the site to the Home Screen keeps progress safest.

Tips

A few minutes a day beats one long session. Start with Level 1 and move up when it feels easy.

Celebrate improvement, not just passing. Getting a few more right than last time is real progress.
